Hello to All of You,
I am sorry this is a little late.
Happy summer! I love the summer. No heat problems, no leaking or frozen
pipes and NO SNOW!
As I do every news letter,
I wanted to let you know what’s new with us and to go over what is
expected of you. We have had a very difficult time these past months. I think
due to the economy, we have had more evictions in the last months then I
have had in my entire career in all locations. It is no fun evicting someone
and seeing their property on the street. Believe me, this is the very last
resort and I hope you all know that you could always talk to me if you’re
having difficulty.
For those of you who
have carpet in the hallways, please give us a break. We have cleaned the
carpet several times. Please be more
careful. We are pretty full in our buildings, but have had a tremendous
amount of movement which unfortunately costs money. Our offer does stand
however,
that if you recommend someone and we accept them as a tenant we will
give you $100.00 off of your next month’s rent. It is very important that
when you get the lease renewal you answer back immediately. If we do not
hear from you, we will market your unit and rent it to someone else. If you
have a problem or need a repair, you must call the office or email us. Do
not tell the men you see on the property. They cannot do anything unless
it comes from the office.
Please make sure that
your smoke and Co2 detector is working. It is your responsibility to replace
the battery. DO NOT TAKE
THE BATTERY OUT! You all should have screens for the windows, if you
do not, please call us and do not open those windows. If your windows are
open, we
do not want to hear your music. Please be considerate to your neighbors
and neighborhood. The buildings have been pretty much trouble free. As
you know,
the summer brings out trouble.
Remember, there is NO
loitering or kids playing anywhere around the building. If you see people
hanging around,
call the
police and let us know also. Please know who you are letting into
your building. If you do not know them, don’t buzz them in. Unfortunately, as you
know, the city does not allow barbequing on the porches. If you have a window
air conditioner, please make sure that it is installed correctly and safely.
We only have two buildings
that we allow dogs. To their owners, please pick up after your dog. It
is not our job. Please do not leave your bikes in the
hallways and/or on the porches. Keep your laundry room clean and
please do not leave your clothes unattended.
To our stores, please remember to keep your windows and the front of your
stores clean. We also suggest that employees of the stores should NOT park
in front of the stores. We need to make our stores as accessible to their
customers as possible.

Lastly, we don’t
know if you have a problem if you don’t communicate with us. We are
at the office from 10:30am-5:00 pm, M-F and 10:30am-3:00pm on Saturday,

I almost forgot. Fargo people, please pick up your dogs poop. We will
not!
